Say hello to Nicole and Tim – a couple from Toronto who read their personalized vows to each other amongst the mountain tops at Revelstoke Mountain Resort on June 22nd. Triple rainbows, rain, sunshine and just a little bit of lightening fuelled the enchanting atmosphere which was only amplified by the emerald green undertones that made an appearance throughout the wedding, including the rings they made themselves. Emerald green encourages growth, reflection, peace and balance – a perfect recipe for a thriving union. When I asked the couple if there was anything unique they planned on incorporating into their ceremony or reception, they humbly responded with “our love”.
I was especially thrilled to capture what was supposed to be the groom’s first look at the bride; the gondola was not operating due to lightening, so the wedding guests hiked up to surprise Nicole. They got the first look instead of Tim and I was able to capture the candid moment. In the end, Nicole and Tim were surrounded by friends and family in a picturesque alpine backdrop and the weather made it a more memorable experience for everyone involved.
