Waterfall Elopement

There are many things to consider before a couple decides to elope.  Who will be present? Will those witnesses hold the couple to their vows and commitments in times of hardship? Would a bigger wedding bring more joy? 

In the end, Jen and Mike decided to choose what is best for their own, unique journey.  In mid August, we ventured out to some of my favourite spots in and around Revelstoke. The couple expressed their vision to just be happy in the mountains; so together we explored waterfalls, rocky outcrops overlooking the mighty Columbia River, lush rainforests, and giant cedar stands.  In the presence of only 3 other people, Jen and Mike committed themselves to each other and began their most epic journey in this new chapter. I hope they feel the whimsical nature of that day on all of their new adventures, for the rest of their days.
