Golden Wedding

Nicole and Cody were wed on a beautiful August day in Golden, BC at Hillside Lodge and Chalets, overlooking the Blaeberry River and Redburn Mountain. I had the pleasure of capturing special moments at their wedding and at their engagement photo session which took place at Emerald Lake. 

As the wildflowers came into full bloom at the height of summer, we took advantage of the beautiful scenery around the mighty Kicking Horse River, capturing the wilderness from overhead with a drone. The next day, we headed up Kicking Horse Mountain Resort to capture them amongst the moody peaks of the Selkirk Mountains.

The pair met in the most unconventional of ways - a field school for bat biologists!

Their wedding themes included the colours purple and grey; symbolizing ambition, devotion, pride and sophistication. A beautiful song from my favourite artist Gregory Alan Isakov is what Nicole & Cody choose as their first dance song.
